Seniors Closs motto: Youth - hope of the world One year they were underclassmen, led by older students, then in the space of only one summer, they be- came the leaders. This is the adiust- ment Seniors '70 had to make in a few short weeks. It was up to them to get clubs and activities started with all the efficiency that is expected of a senior class. With the motto Youth is the hope of the world, seniors led in sports and organizations throughout the year. Among the 229 in the class, were honor students and outstanding ath- letes who received a variety of scholar- ships. Schools depend on their upper-class to set an example for those who must shoulder the responsibility next year. The Senior class of 1970 did this for Star-Spencer.
