Eootball Bobcat gridders tie conference foes l After losing to Putnam City and lilassen in the opening games, the Bobcats came back to demolish the ,liarl Albert Titans 42-8, before tying lonference toes McGuinness and ortheast. y By defeating the Moore Lions in the last game of the season, the Bobcats nded their third straight winning if year. Although the Bobcats were 4-3-2 or the year, they were rated eighth in the state in the Class AA final Ratings. Severe injuries cost the Bob- cats as they lost several starters for the season. But, with determination, along with great depth in the backfield, the Bobcats managed to retain their num- ber eight rankings. Highlighting the season was the Bobcat victory over the El Reno ln- dians.
