To continue in this tradition, we the annual staff, wish to dedicate the 1959 ROCKET to our friend and sponsor, Mr. Louis Bluerock. Mr. Bluerock, who has often been said to be the busiest person at Star City High, carries out his many tasks with a cheerful smile. Though pressing matters may be calling, still he will pause to give a helping hand or a word of advice to all who seek it. We are proud of our unanimous choice, and we proudly dedicate thisan- nual to you. Mr. Bluerock. MR. C. R. TEETER. Superintendent of Schools Jiiar Odtiu public j cbonls STAR CITY. ARKANSAS Few if any of us know of the many problems and difficulties encountered by the staff and sponsor in producing the ROCKET. It is a big job and re- quires skill in finance, advertising, photography, selling, scheduling, and public relations. We are proud of the ROCKET and we are grateful to our advertisers and to all who had a part in making it a success. These pages record in permanent form many achievements, activities, and happy memories of school days 1958-59. It is our hope that in the long years ahead, this book will ever be a source of inspiration and joy to each of you. Administration Provides Varied Curriculum BOARD OF EDUCATION - Mr. B. F. The warm and appetizing atmosphere in the cafeteria is due largely to the efforts of the school cooks.
