Class History fonfmued was the succ ssful pancake feed held downtown on January 27 Our class play No Boys Allowed vsas a big success as was the Moon light and Roses banquet that we gave the seniors on May 4 lr' the Presbyterian church basement Mr Hart was our sponsor again and our class officers were Carolyn Holste president Bill Karn vice president, Sharron Flin ecretary, and Larry Brown treasurer Byron Barner and Martha Long were our Student Council representatives Mr Holub replaced Mr Barlow as band director, and Mr Lind ly did not return Mrs Virginia Jones became the home economics teacher at the end of the semester The end of our Junior year found the class at the Dismal River for our class picnic last tlmep on August 31 1954 Conrey Keyes was missing but Larry Salisbury Joined the class Mr Floyd and Mr Belz replaced Mr Blggerstaff and Mrs Haut on the faculty We elected Pat Phllpot president Bull Karn vice president, Byron Barner secretary and Larry Salusbury, treasurer Larry Brown and JoAnn Barker were elected to the Student Council We chose Mr Floyd as our sponsor We had our graduation pictures taken on September 22, and attended the Grand Island North Platte football game on October 15 We presented our Senior play You re Young Only Twlc on No vember 23 The Juniors gave us a banquet In the dining room on May 25 A Rainbow theme was carried out Our fmal project was on Sat urday Apr1l3O when we washed cars for the townspeople Baccalaur- ate services were held in the Presbyterian Church on Sunday, May 15 with Reverend Holub as the speaker Now, as we leave Baker Rural High School for the last time as a part of the student body we take with us many fond memories and we want the juniors and their sponsor to know that we had a lovely sneakless trip to the Black Hills May 7 through 9 Hope we didnt spoil your plans for next year Q 0 I O .i H , - ll A Fifteen High and Mighty seniors returned to BRHS lfor the . v 5 I . , , ' , V ' eu, .
