For three years at Stamford High School, our physical and intellec- tual stamina was put to the test by skilled instructors and technicians who developed in us the qualities to meet the world of tomorrows, Science and mathematics are the foundations of knowledge in this age of space. Every symbol in chemistry, every law in physics, every dissection in biology has opened new doors of discovery. As we plotted graphs and solved equations, we discovered a new realm of human thinking. In our industrial arts classes many of us learned the practical application of skills destined to serve us as our liveli- hoods. And as the men of our scientific tomorrow learned the fundamentals of their trades, proficient designers, seam- stresses and culinary wizards were pre- paring to make any new world a home. Our heritage -the history of our lit- erature, industries, and social develop- ment - has opened our eyes to the complexities of our world of today, and thereby initiated us to the complica- 2.
