i 1 JIM VADHEIM METTA EVANS KEN VIAFORE Vice President Secretary Treasurer fa ium s Constitution unsuccessful In the spring election of 1958, the Associated Students amended Stadium's Constitution. These changes concerned the yell team, eligibility of officers, and allotment of repre- sentatives, which was the most significant change. In the past representatives were elected by actual interest groups - classes, clubs, and organizations - but under the new system, representation comes from districts of roll rooms. During the first semester this change was tested. It proved unsuccessful for several reasons. In the first place, student council was forced to meet before school as no class period could be allowed. Also, the size of the group, forty members, made work difficult. Lastly, this system was im- practical because students and groups who really needed representative didn't have it. Then as the semester changed, student body officers in In charge of the Basketball Night assembly are Kathy Pappas and Ken Viafore.
