These students were not afraid to cru- sade, and in this way were able to bring school problems to the attention of the student body. The appearance of The World was changed and given a more modern look by doing away with column rules, changing the name plate and altering some of the regular headlines. Besides their journalistic duties, this staff found the time and imagination to present the win- ning skit in football night. Reporters on the fall World staff were: Louise Balsano, Donna Bradley, Bruce Briggs, Janet McCormack, Doug Roeder, Shirley Sayre, Barbara Schaller. Members of the ad staff were: Carol Bigger, Bonita Carlisle, Sue Fawcett, Janice Forrester, Mary Jane Hungerford, Barbara Ohlson, Janice Peterson, Allyne Rendel, Carole Schwartz, Anne Wilde.
