nnitnzrsarp Teachers Stadium has many traditions which have been revered and treasured by all students, both past and present. Besides the pleasant memories of spring days in the court, assemblies and dances, every graduate, when thinking back on his years at Stadium, remembers his teachers. Whether he rememf bers them as outstanding educators in their fields or as good friends of their students makes no difference. The fact remains that our teachers are the ones who have influenced us most during our high school years. This twentyffifth anniversary edition of the Tahoma is just another milestone in the lives of many of the teachers here today. The men and women who have devoted 25 or more years to the teaching profession at Stadium are held in the highest esteem. Theirs is the kind of service that so often goes unsung in a community but which deserves the highest of praise. Two men who contributed greatly to the excellent reputation Stadium has as a school were its previous principals, Mr. Hunt and Mr. Perkins. More than just fine men, they were fine teachers who are still remembered by many former pupils. There are 19 men and women at Stadium this year who were here when the Hrst annual was issued. They have helped us all immeasurably and none of us will ever forget their patience and friendly cooperation. They are Mr. H. Carr, Miss Cooper, Mr. Clark, Mr. Cousin, Miss A. Fraser, Mr. Giltner, Miss Crime, Miss Hammond, Mr. Hilton, Mr. Hoffman, Mr. Kennard, Mr. Johnson, Miss Miller, Mrs. Simmons, Mr. Smith, Mrs. Stratton, Mrs. VanArsdale and Mr. Westgate. To these teachers goes the tribute of the returning students who fondly inquire about their former instructors. As counselors and as friends, they will never be forgotten by the men and women whomvthey have taught. It is to these teachers that we say, L'Thank you. You have always stood us in good stead, and now, after we have left, you will remember not the times we hadn't our lessons prepared or the times we skipped, but look to the future when we. like our parents before us, will have attained the heights for vihich you have hoped and worked with us. -The Class of '47' U01
