NE of the main purposes of this book is that of a reminder. lt should serve this purpose in more ways than one. Seniors, who are graduating, will look at it in the years to come and recall their days at Stadium. They will remember the faces they see as old friends, and they will think of the good times they had. To the juniors and sophomores it will serve as a reminder of the things they have to look forward to in high school. Commencement, dances and other enjoyable activities are brought to mind when glancing through the book. But if one looks just at the cover-at the figure on it. and at the colors-the thoughts are serious, almost reverent. These things are reminders of a nation-Our nation. The red, white and blue stand for the flag and the statue stands for-LIBERTY. Each one of us should remember that. We should strive as hard to rotect our fiat and our libert as did those who were tr in to P is Y Y ll ain them.
