One of the benefits of a Jesuit education most often pointed out is its superb logic training. In emphasizing logic the Jesuits insist that every student has at least two years of Latin and two more years of a modern or classical lan- guage. For their ideal, they set a course of four years of Latin and two years of Greek Although language as a mind trainer is thought of chiefly as foreign language, our own English is also in- t ' - cluded in this group.
