T'Wo years ago Mrs. Floyd l. Kinnaman joined the fac-
ulty of St. Wendelin High School as music instructress.
ln that brief space of time she has done a marvelous
Work in bringing finer music to the students and teach-
ing them a keener appreciation of it. Under her capable
direction a Glee Club has been organized, and music has
become an important subject in the school curriculum.
To you, Mrs. Kinnaman, for your untiring patience and
unselfishness, We, the graduates of 1939, express our sin-
cerest thanks and appreciation.
MM. elaaence Kuhn ,
Mrs. Clarence Kuhn, an alumna of St.
Wendelin High and a graduate of Mary
Manse College, took over the duties of
secretary at St. Wendelin High in Sep-
tember, I938. She has proven herself very
successful in this work.
ft is with deepest gratitude that We ex-
press sincere thanks to you, Mrs. Kuhn, in
appreciation for your Whole-hearted ser-
vices.

Although he has spent but one year as a faculty mem-
ber of St. Wendelin High School, Mr. Adolph Tscherne
will be remembered by every student as a fine coach,
teacher, and friend.
He will leave St. Wendelin High with the end of this
school term to assume duties at Central Catholic High
School, Toledo, as assistant coach. Though we regret the
loss of his excellent services, the entire student body
congratulates him on his advancement and Wish him un- ,
limited success.

As Commencement day approaches and as We, the graduating class of
l9t39, cast a retrospective glance over our school years, we begin to realize and
appreciate the unceasing and patient labor exerted by the teachers of St. Wen-
delin High School in our behalf. Through the years they have seemed like
guardian angels hovering over us constantly, protecting us from the many pit-
falls which beset life's Way.
There are no Words adequate to express our heartfelt thanks and apprecia-
tion to them for their unselfish sacrifice of time and self for our spiritual and
temporal betterment but We shall attempt in some small Way to repay our debt
to them by always living the principles that have been instilled into our hearts.
To Father Osterhage, who has labored so tirelessly during the past three
years for the salvation of our souls and the development of our minds and
bodies, we owe an immeasurable debt of gratitude.
To Father Ftuess, who, by Word and example, has furnished a model of
Christian goodness, We extend sincerest thanks.
To the good sisters, Sister Mary Lillian, Sister Mary Dalene, Sister Mary
Charlotte, and Sister Mary Francella, who were ever near and always eager to
guide us along the way that leads to heaven, We wish to pay tribute.
Finally, but in no wise least, our sincerest gratitude is extended to the lay
faculty members, Mr. Adolph Tscherne, Mrs. Floyd Kinnaman, and Mrs. Clar-
ence Kuhn, for their useful services.
To all who have been instrumental in our progress-spiritually, intellect-
ually, and materially we extend our heartfelt appreciation.
