Father Joseph Haley, now completing his third year here at St. Vincent's, has proven again this year his competence as Rector and Principal. The epitome of efficiency and or- ganization, Father handles all Seminary affairs with incom- parable ability and flare. A mas- ter of quick wit, Father always makes those around him feel quickly at ease. We wish to thank Father Haley for his con- tinued dedication to us and to our goals, and we know that life will continue to bring him the joy of celebration which he has imparted to each member of the student body.

Cairns Dean of Students at St Vincents Seminary and part-time teacher of has inaugurated many new projects this year projects which, although novel to of us here have helped to further unify the student body and to intensify the student His dream for a school year of student growth and student celebration has been arily through his unflagging dedication to the student community and by the example he sets for each of us His imaginative ideas and the innovative at- which informs his role as Dean of Students has infused a great sense of vitality into members of the student body and challenges each of us to think and to act with vigor, and reason and with sincerity towards ourselves and towards our brothers. His studied patience in the shortcomings and imperfection of his students and his sensitive skill in guiding each of us along the road of maturity has made Father Cairns beloved in the eyes and hearts of his students and of his peers.
