Service organizations, language clubs, and honor societies; meet- ings, projects, and initiations — all are important aspects of life at St. Stephens High School. Students learn to assume new responsibilities when they become members of the various clubs and staffs. Some of the organizations at St. Stephens, such as the Library Club and the publications’ staffs, per- form valuable services within the school; while other clubs, such as the Key Club or the Sub-Junior Woman’s Club, work for the better- ment of the entire community. Or- ganizations uniting students with a common interest or hobby also make up a large majority of the clubs at St. Stephens. Students in- terested in photography can join the Camera Club, while those in- terested in mastering the demand- ing game of chess can join the newly-formed Chess Club. Students Learn Responsibilities Through Various Clubs In preparing ‘Toys for the Needy” the St. Stephens High School DECA Propst adds the finishing touches to a Christmas window display around Club collected 604 toys for distribution by the Salvation Army. Denise the theme ‘‘Help DECA Help the Needy.”
