PHOTOGRAPHY CLUB Kneelmg left lo rzght Kerr Forman Standing front row R Clarke Snyder Lang Hill T Lewis Back row Murrrll Delo Holloway Cunkel Stanbaugh Nlr Drce THE PHOTOGRAPHY CLUB One of the up and coming newer organizations about the campus, an outgrowth of the Camera Club that existed at Saint Pauls a few years back, rs the Photography Club Tlus activity rs set up to promote a better understanding of photography and rs open to all interested students This year, as rn the past the group sought to instruct members rn the fundamentals of photography and the use of the darkroom which rs located rn the basement of the asking and answering any questions the members might have Another segment of the meeting time was set aside for additional instruction by the presrdent or other oflicers of the club This year, however, the club was indeed fortunate rn obtaining the services of a br monthly speaker, Mr Rowe, the head photographer of the Baltzmore News Post Mr Rowe set up a program rn which the members were drvrded rnto three groups beginners, average, and advanced thus facilitating hrs instructional periods considerably During the meetings the advanced students also supervised the beginners rn the darkroom for on the spot rnslructron This summer a few of the members plan to remodel the darkroom, which rs rn need of repair and better equipment so that rt may become dust and light proof The oflicers of the club, who were ably supervised by Mr Drce, the faculty advisor, were Cordon Lyons, president Armstrong Forman, vrce president, William Kerr, secretary treasurer 71 Administration Building.
