Editor-in-zhief, Catherine Cassidy and assistant editors Elizabeth GGISOH Gnd Rosemary Famiglietti study some features in previous issues ot Archangelo. l John Kehoe, business manager, dictates plans for financing the book to Mary Ann Andryszewski and Nuala O'Connor of the business staff, Archangelo Viewing the high standards of previous issues of the Archangelo, the i959 staff have worked on this year's production with some trepidation and a good deal of prayer. ln the midst of our difficulties we have turned for help to her around whom we have centered our yearbook. To her we give credit for whatever is goodg the defects are entirely our own. We wish to acknowledge our debt of gratitude to Joseph Raisteter, our art ed- itor, for all the art work and for his help with the lay outs, and to Catherine Cas- sidy, editor-in-chief, and Rosemary Fam- ighetti and Elizabeth Garson for their ef- forts over and above the call of duty. This does not lessen our indebtedness to Our lady. They were her gifts to us. We are deeply grateful also to Sister Magdalen and the business staff for re- lieving us of the difficult and most im- portant task of financing the Archangelo. Joseph Raisteter, art editor, points out some interesting features of lay out to George Costa, feature editor. 92

Bongiovanni, E, Turanslmy, Moderator Miss Paparazzo The Red Cross Club has the very laudable aim of trying to bring sunshine into the lives of those whose existence is made rather cheerless by illness or by the deprivation of home and family. The members have made many cheery favors to brighten hospital trays and they are a ray of sunshine to shut-ins and orphans by their generous gifts of bright picture books, games, toys and puzzles. Some ofthe meetings ofthe club are devoted to forums on healthier living. Red Cross Moderator Sister M. Dolorosa The Mission Club is always one of the pivotal clubs of any Catholic high school. Our late Holy Father declared that to be Catholic is to be apostolic. The students of St. Michael's show their zeal and prove their apostolic spirit by their efforts and their sacrifices on behalf of the missions. Mission Day calls out all the talents and devices ofthe student body for fund- raising, as class vies with class to be top in mission aid. This day is merely the culmination, not the end of activity, for all the year-round there are successively mite box collections, clothing drives, stamp collections, and the perennial Mission Dance. 13 Sorting and packing cancelled stamps to aid the missions are: E.
