In Thy wounds hide me. Retreat The annual retreat is a time of spiritual renewal. This year's re- treat, which was given at the be- ginning of the second semester, was conducted by Father Francis X. Brock, S.J. His forceful and il- luminating conferences deeply im- pressed the students. Everyone appreciated the op- portunity of with-drawing from the distractions of everyday life and of being brought into contact with spiritual realities. The great- est privilege of the retreat was, of course, the daily retreat Mass at which most of the students re- ceived Holy Communion. The other spiritual exercises reinforced the great Act of the day and made the students more Christo- centric. We hope that the retreat will continue to be effective in their lives as they continue through school and when they go out into the world.
