Bringing out the same forms of music in different levels were two other classes that didn ' t meet every day, Beginning Handbells, an introduction to the art of manual tintinabulation; and Canticum Novum, meaning sing a new song in Latin, an advanced singing group. These groups met on certain days during lunch and, on special occasions, after school. When all these musical groups practiced under the guidance and conduction of a new music teacher, Ms. Fran Johnston, you could see and hear a deep love for music.
