Fantasticks ! For the first time m ihe history of both the schools, St Matthias and Saiesian High Schools come together to render their performance of a play The play that was chosen was The Fantasticks The cast was composed of veterans as well as novices to the stage Kathy Vela, Kathy Porter, Eddie Rodriguez, and Angel Romero have all had previous experience and truly gave their all as actors and actresses to enhance the play. Play practices for the spring play are helping young actors prepare for the school production of Bye-Bye Birdie. This year, the promising actresses fronn this school got the chance to work with actors imported from Salesian High School. This is the second time that St Matthias and Salesian have collaborated to put on a theatrical production The first time that talents were combined was for the show, The Fantas- tics The response was positive, and so, the relationship was exercised again Mrs Store, director, plays a very important role in making sure that the final product is a good one Kathy Vela, the female lead, says about the practices, If you enjoy acting and doing plays, you don ' t mind the long hours. 1 In Lots of Living , Olgo De Lo Torre finds the love of her life 2 The choreography of Lots of Living in Its raw phase 3 Experienced women of the stage.
