Besides being the noisiest class in school, the Junior class is also the largest. It is the only class that fills three entire homerooms. The class ' size is its strength as the class proved in the Spirit Day activities in September. It was great. I felt lil e a spirit leader the whole time, said Junior mascot Goofy (alias Diana Bueno), one of the loudest Juniors around. Diana, along with other spirited Juniors, led the class to victory, winning the Spirit Stick for the third consecutive year. 1 I love Ba-nan-a, says Kim Stevenson, 2, Is this a hint as to what Virginia Gallo does in her spare time? 3. Juniors Junior year is important to everyone, especially to ttie Class of ' 85. It ' s one of the moments they were waiting for. Junior year also means making decisions, and taking on more responsibilities. Some decisions that faced the Class of ' 85 were picking little sisters, class colors, class rings, and Senior sweaters. These were all important facets of becoming upperclasswomen. Academic stability was also important, and to get this started. Juniors took the P. S. A. T. test. This is Just one of the many obstacles that had to be overcome, especially if college is in the future. As Isabel Carram put it, Junior year is the hardest so far. It can ' t be said that there was nothing fun about Junior year. There were the dances and the Junior-Senior Prom to look forward to. The Class of ' 85 met all the decisions and the responsibilities head on, and once again have come out fine. If anything resulted from Junior year it was the lessons learned. Diana Marquez remarked, Junior year teaches people to face the reality of life.
