LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT OF THE CLASS OF 1954 Pay Ye Heed Illiterate Underclassmen: Who, unlike the undersigned, are yet swaddling babes, unlearned, ill-mannered, uncouth, and definitely egotisticalg being so unsophisticated that ye knoweth not of the fabulous facts of life nor have ye penetrated the depths of the Kinsey Report. We, the masters of the universe, conquerors of destiny, overthrowers of ancient prophecies and the bane of Prof. Carpenter's theories, who have surmounted unsurmountable heights, do hereby Execute, Make, Declare, and Proclaim, both orally and in writing, the following to be our last will and testament, hereby revoking any and all former wills, or any papers that might be erroneously construed as a will, due to poor penmanship, misspelling, or lack of sleep, and do hereby request that all the following provisions of this our last will be carried out. We do hereby give, devise and bequeath, To wit: TED ADAMS leaves his beloved Ford to anyone who will pay for it. .T OE BAILEY just wants to leave the whole High School. RAY BALLARD leaves Judy to anyone who thinks he can whip a Texanl TERRY BARRON wills his editorship of the yearbook to any poor fool who wants it. PHYLLIS BENNETT wills her quiet ways to Joanna Johnson. WILLIAM BILLS wills his baby face to Max Alkire. BILL BRADFIELD leaves his right to buy his own car to anyone who can finance it. PAUL BROWN leaves his money-making schemes to Jim Creek. ACEY CAMPBELL wills his curly hair to Bobby Cooper. CLYDE COKELEY leaves his nickname Crip to Louie Dutton. ROBERT CREEK wishes to leave his DeSoto to a junk yard worthy of it. JUDY DAVIS wills her red -hair to Charlotte Adams. RUTH DAVIS leaves her typewriter to anyone with patience. JIMMY JOHNSON leaves himself to any girl who will call for him. ROBERT JOHNSON wills a standing offer of a good argument to any teacher who wants it. CONRAD KEMP just isn't going to leave anybody nothing , JUDITH KENNEDY hereby stamps the Kennedy Scholarship payable to any boy with good grades and conduct who wants a wee kiss.. BETTY LAMP bequeaths her nickname Ice-box to anybody who has troubles with his re- frigerator. ROBERT LAMP wills a football to L. P. Ingram, J unior. JO ANN LAUHON leaves the title Smooch-pooch to Martha Gerber. HELEN LOCKE leaves her voice to David Pitts. NANCY MASTERS wills her sweaters to anyone capable of filling the position.
