RIBUTE TO A PRIEST A good man in the cleric garb was there, A village Priest poor in house and fare, But rich he was in holy thought and worlc. l le was withal a learned man, a clerlc That would Christ's very Gospel truly preach, And his parishioners devoutly teach. Benign he was and wondrous diligent, Full patient in adversity as sent From God, and he of this had lcnown his share. . . By this example all might understand God's will should first be done and then be taught.
