Teach Your Children'f-Administration Administration was expanded this year through the hiring of Mr. James Metzo as Development Director. Mr. Metzo has earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from Bowling Green State University. Mr. Dennis Rectenwald began his second year as principal with a Masters degree in Administration and Supervision from the University of Toledo. The main office was manned by Mrs. Naufel, Mrs. Gallam and Mrs. Smith. Through the use of auxillary services money, the thirteen member school board: under the direction of E.F. Hughes, President and Frank Muscetta, Vice- President, was able to hire a school nurse for the first time at St. Mary's. Mrs. Barbara McAran took the job and began setting up health records for each student. One welcome change in the cafeteria was the beginning of an a la carte lunch line in mid-February. Building custodians, Joe Hoelzer and Cletus Ritzenthaler Cclass of '25J spent most of their time fixing leaky water pipes, putting in new lockers, or doing all those little things that janitors are supposed to do. And who could forget our house- keeper, Mrs. Rita Manner. Besides keeping the building clean, she always had a few extra ties hidden away for anybody who might have forgotten his.
