Mitch Naufel, the only senior member of the group, fell in his second match, but captured back to back wins in the consolations to place 3RD in the state at 175 pounds. He scored all 12 points for the Panthers who tied for 20TH place. l'm so proud of these boys. We had eight boys in the hospital during the year. Lots of injuries, but these boys, and l should say these men, came on to win sec- tionals and districts , stated Coach Keegan in summing up the season. The Panthers finished a challenging season with an impressive 6-2 dual meet record by defeating Lorain Senior, Shelby, Margaretta, Clyde, Perkins and Huron. The only losses came at the hands of Fremont St. Joe and Norwalk.
