mmf 4 fQ +W.41 l1 K4 A rm? - 'AY it f A ixil 'f .f vi 1 M Scott Kelly 125i gains valuable yardage ln the St. Joe game. ufel 1321 and Scott Kelly 1251 await the quarterback's signal Day By Day . . . For a young inexperienced team, this year's Panthers gave the big guys a run for the SBC gold. With a nucleus of 13 sen- iors, the 39 man squad finished 4-2 in the conference and 7-3 in the regular season. Even with the same record as the previous year, this year's team did something last year's team didn't. The 1976 Panthers placed on the UPI and the AP listings, scoring as high as 2nd place! From spirited wins, like the Margaretta game C20-OJ, to heartbreaking losses like the Huron contest CO-79, the Pan- thers always came back fighting. Then when it was all over, St. Mary's proved to all the big guys in the SBC, that it takes a lot to overcome Panther Pride. At every pep rally, every stu- dent of this school stood up and prayed: We the students of St. Mary's dedicate this game to thee, our Lady queen of victories
