Master FIRST THI GS FIRST . Father Donald Hagerott, assistant pastor at St. Joseph's Parish in Dickin- son, conducted the student mission at SMCHS, November 17-25, '58, Three conferences were held each day in the gym. Daily at 11:00 the entire student body participated in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass and at Benediction after the 2:40 conference. Get excited about going to Heaven! With this statement Father Hagerott set the mood for the mission. Where are we going? How are we living now? All these thoughts gave us plenty to consider during the week of the mission. lf we give God our best efforts, and keep a good conscience which is our greatest joy, we will set a good example and win our eternal reward. 23 Student Mission l

Larry Brewster, Harold Kolberg, Etienne Doppler, Edward Jaskowiak, Bill Schlosser, Jack Brown, Mike LaLonde, Joseph Schmidt. ST. MARY'S CHORAL CLUB is directed by Mr. Joseph F. Rossi. The main concerts are given at Christmas and Easter time. On December 14, 1958, the Music De- partment combined their talents in presenting a Christ- mas Concert in which the Testament of Nations by Roger Williams was sung by the Chorus and accompanied by the Band. Chorus members also participate in various other musi- cal activities, including Choraliers, St. Mary's Church Choir and Cathedral Male Choir. Each year the Choral Club is represented at the State Class A Festival. Assumption Abbey Male Chorus directed by Father Matthew gave an exchange concert at SMCHS on May 7, 1958.
