' ,, ,ei-ru--1. -- ' Y - -- ' Y The 1976 BUCCANEER Is Dedicated To Saint Maryls High School: To The Administration, Teachers, And Students Who Have BEEN This Institution Since 1888. In that year, St. Mary's began, formed brick by brick into the gallant building that stood just west of the church. There have been changes: in name fthe school was the Loretto Academy until 19021 and in location fthe 1888 building was razed in 19701. But the Uadition, philosphy, and success of St. Mary's has not changed. An illustration of that on-going tradition: the photo- graph of the 1925-26 basketball team appeared in the first St. Mary's yearbook, THE MARYLIN, printed in the spring of 1926.
