So that rhe students would have more opportunities to use the p facilities, the library was held open from l am to 5 pm on Sun- days. Two seniors and a student's father proctored. Recently, upper schoolers were given the privilege of a student commons. The converted hallway now holds plush used fur- niture that the parents donated and offers students the oppor- tunity to go and relax, talk, or get a snack. The purpose is to give students a leading role in the planning and implementation ofthe Chapel program including subjects, speakers, and programs. 5 N . 1, The Student Concerns Committee was recently formed to discuss and attempt to resolve certain problems and issues con- cerning the student body and the school. 19
