Cross Country Skip Gowan Many times a team cannot be evaluated in how many wins or losses it experiences during the season. I found this fact to be true in our 1964 Cross Country team. The boys never missed practice, worked themselves hard all the time and never once gave up, either in practice or in a meet. The 1964 C.C. team was both a joy and a pleasure to be associated with and a group of boys I'll never forget. - Coach Wing A1 Denton 114 Bob English Jim Grover Junior Varsity ROW ONE: T. Hurt, R. Mr. Milne expects the '65 track squad to surpass last season’s with only one letterman not returning. All ten men who qualified for the state meet will be back. The team did very well last year by winning the Regionals, placing within a few points of first place at Arthur Hill relays, and 3rd at conference. COACH BAY Under Coach Bay, the St. Louis baseball team should pose more than a threat in the MMB conference this spring. Last year the Sharks won the Northern Division only to be beaten out in the conference playoff by Durand. From last year's team there are ten men back. Roy Seeley, Art Sanchez, and Rod Palmer should do most of the work on the mound. In the infield Charles Touzeau, Jack LaMee, Frank McClintic, Ralph Snook, and Dave Caszatt are all returning starters; this leaves the outfield pretty much open to newcomers. 122 Jack LaMee Dave Caszatt 123 FIRST ROW: Coach Hammond, R. Palmer. SECOND ROW: B. McCann, A. Rear, B. Brewer. THIRD ROW: N. Christman, B. Mills, C. Fortino, G. Brewer. With five lettermen returning, the golf squad's record of 3-G should improve. Winning letters were number 1 man -- Greg Brewer, 2 man -- Buck Brewer, 3 man — Bill McCann, 4 man -- Bill Mills, and 5 man -- Norm Christman. Other top linksmen back this year include Ron Palmer, Ken Best, Chuck Fortino and A1 Rear. Number one man Greg Brewer holds the school low scoring record and will be out to better it again this year. 124 Greg Brewer Bill Mills 125 126 NETTERFIELD FOOTWEAR 124 N.
