'96 LOUIAN-1923 D99 OUR TEACHERS 1Continue el A great educator said to Supt. Wood the other day, How did you ever collect such a congregation of wonder- ful teachcrs? For one he had referred to Miss Schaus who has taught here for 30 years-enough said-she has more interest and push than some entire schools have. She is supervisor of the Commercial Dep't and Treasurer of' the school funds. Miss Fllis is our mathematics teacher She is a de- gree graduate of our Michigan State Agricultural College the college acknowledged to be the best of rts krnd rn the Unrted States Mrss Ellis came here from Moorhead, Iowa, where she had been teaching, and rs doing excep tronally fine work here For months we looked for a science teacher, the summer passed and part of the school year yet we failed to find what we wanted Mr Grant who last :year had from page 151 here for three years and needs no other recommendation for her work has been of an exceptionally high quality. Mrs. Kennedy is another U. of M. degree graduate and has taught in St. Louis for several years. She is now teaching Miss Por'ter's English classes. Mrs. Kennedy, whose father, J. K.
