Seniors Reach the Journey’s End lo double oxposuro is this, but rather a lighting up with a booming smile by four sets c wins in the senior class. They include, seated. Robert and Betty Lisiak. Joan and Antoinott ‘•dula; standing. Jean and Joan Mandziuk, Lorraine and Joan Konarzewski. Gerald Shirllla assists Father Eugono Kijek dis- tributo diplomas to Robert Otrompko and Helen Obuchowski. Our seniors are leaders in their own right . . . They mirror SLH traditions and activities. Their abil- ities and dignity grace every phase of student life. Theirs is an interest with a future. Current com- munity problems stir them to voice their opinions. In a rousing panel on the Junior Town Hall Meeting of the Air, the seniors discussed the transfer of industry in relation to the management's moral obligations. For a broader view of democratic government the senior class took a jaunting trip to the Nation's Capitol during the Spring vacation. On the side of the footlights. Senior Choristers combined Thespian art with newly truly beautiful cos- tumes. Thus, they emphasized the Nativity as the ground-root of Catholic Action. Talent's the ticket, to- gether with the ability to feel the pulse of the student body, that the Scroll staff and the Torch editors used for gathering news and views. These Ladislites are sportsminded, too. In regal splendor. Her Majesty the Queen, and her attending lovelies enhanced the Greyhound court. The L-Club boasts of the largest number of Senior lettermen in the history of the school. Also the graduation will dis- pense with the first four-year girls' corps of the Cheer- leading Squad. The seniors' top-flight performance, of course, is scholastic. Their achievement, symbolized by the gold tassel and cord worn in the silent file of the graduates' ranks, bespeaks the crowning triumph of their success. 21
