In March We found we needed another Class Sponsor and this time we elected Mr H nes. Miss Bohn . . . after a party honoring .S- Y The Annual junior-Senior Banquet was held at the Wilmar Cafeteria April 29, 1954. Ma 3 summer vacations began and we were really ready for them. We took part, again ig 3 May Day Procession on May 9, then turned our attention to the skit Kids i H d at the Class Day program on june 4. will be Kids , which we presente H me was formally dedicated and we On june 10 the new St. Josephs Nurses o . . I moved in on june 15. When things had settled down a bit, Dr. Lincicome had a party for us at his home on July 16. Another GREAT BIG DAY! September 2 . . . and 22 caps got dressed up with two cherished black velvet stripes . . . we are SENIORSH!! This naturally called for a celebration which followed a little belatedly on October 6 at the Gun Club. Runnin true to our style, we were again seeking a Class Sponsor and this time we S Dlayed safe and elected two, Sister Kevin and Sister Ambrose. CNow surely they won t ' ' ff' are Pat as BOTH leave before we graduatelj. Serving with them as class o icers President, Mary Alice, Vice-President, Carol Jane, Treasurer, and Norma, Secretary. By this time the Year Book Staff had been organized and of October 12 we pre- sented our first money raising project--a play-- The Schmika Ink Plant. Incidentally, this was the first production on the stage in the Nurses Home Auditorium. On October 29 We had a formal dance in the gym. Anything for the Year Book , so the morning after we put on a Bake Sale in the hospital lobby. if .Things eased offifor a while, then we livened them up with a Sock Hop on November 17. We didnt bother washing our socks-just donated them to -the Year Book rummage sale, held December 3. .Into our third nursing Christmas and the , play At The Feet of the Madonna , presented on December 15.
