I I I I I I I 'lm The outstanding feature of the Club,s activities 'was the presentatlon of its three 'L l annual concerts, the programs of which were in accordance with the sentiments of the Yuletide, Saint Patrick's Day and the glorious Junetime. 7. The Christmas Concert consisted of those old yet ever new carols blended with EN hymns of praise and adoration to Bethlehem's Babe. Irish melodies received an ever spirited welcome when the Club observed the 1 g festal day of the Emerald Isle. Q Q55 uThe end crowns the workn 'tis said and June's Concert dared prove no excep- in T tion, for its semi-classical program'delighted an appreciative audience. ,lei-A , V 1 P Throughout the year the Club Orchestra appeared at various times, featuring W popular or old-fashioned numbers as the occasion required. Social activities 'were fostered under the auspices of the organization. These my included dances, card parties and lawn fetes, the Masquerade and Washingtonis ,Ne Birthday Party being the most noteworthy.
