Five buildings are under construction to house the new St. Io- seph's Academy student body. More than tive hundred students will have the privilege of attending classes in the latest type of school building ever to be erected in one ot the most beautiful lo- cations in the state the city of Fron- tenac. Captained by Carol Franz, senior, and coached by Miss Rosemary McGill, the team showed an unusual spirit. Despite the fact that most of the team members were playing their first year on the varsity, the green and white team gave great promise for next year. Outstanding players for the season were Carol Franz, Iosephine Viviano, and Kathleen Kealy. Page Forty-Six ln the Maryville Tournament, held the last week of March, the varsity outplayed them- selves and managed to reach the quarter-finals. The green and white defeated Notre Dame of Belleville by a score of 28-26. They sent Xavier down to defeat by a score of 30-22. Villa Du- chesne took over in the third game and defeated our team, 6l-16.
