Through daily Mass, Communion, Rosary, each sodalist was fulfill- ing her duties and carrying out the motto, Ad Iesum per Mariamf' by placing every day in the hands of Mary. The sodality had many projects throughout the year, foremost of which were the clothes drive at Thanksgiving and the basket drive for food for the needy families at Christmas. The social life of a sodalist was not slighted. If you looked in on Medaille Hall on Dec. 27, 1952, you could tell that the annual Christmas formal dance was in full swing. Last, but not least, was our own beautiful May Day, May 25, on which day the sodalists pay full homage to Mary by crowning her Queen. Through the Sodality of Qur Lady of the An- nunciation, the girls at S.I.A. are equipped to face the many temptations of life knowing that they are under the protection of the Lovely Lady in Blue.
