DOLF SCHUMACHER, a native of Hanover, is a graduate of the Royal Gymnasium at Gottingen. He received his Doetor's degree from both Ameri- Call and foreign Universities. For live years IIC pursued the study of Ancient, Semitic and Ro1nance Philology a11d Literatures at the Universities of Gottingen and Leipsie. B., M. A. Professor of History and Eca11u111ic.r.
