Varsity Basketball Has Close Calls, but No Breaks Varsity Basketball started out strong with a fine show- ing in the Pius X Tournament. The Braves took the Conso- lation round and looked forward to Del Rey League compe- tition. The Braves were led- by Senior Captain ric Larson. Eric's ability and talent earned him a first team rating in the All-League ballotincg. Overall the Braves were a 7-15 team. In the rough an tough Del Rey the Braves were close in each game but ende up with an 0-8 record. Join- ing Eric on the Del-Rey League Honors were Bryon Stra- chan and Rodney Scott. L to R.
