The members helped keep order at the football and basketball games. They also helped out the Parents' Club by assisting at the Fashion Show, Las Vegas Night, and the Flummage Sale. One of the club' major services to the school was its work during the annual fiesta. The club helped out by setting up, ing in the boothes, and serving different dinners each night at fiesta. The club was also ble for maintaining and updating t record board in the Gym lobby. In general, the Varsity Club was proud organization that did a gre amount of service for the school. oo Vwffy Club

CSF MMA6 Buffy Y St. John Bosco's Chapter of the California Scholarship Federation started the year with one of its larg- est memberships in its Bosco his- tory. Club membership was based on academic achievement, a 3.5 GPA or better was required to join. The club was not merely an academic society, but an active one. Members voted Louie Casas, President, Mylin Watkins, Vice- president, Bob DaSiIva and Andy Bhupathy, secretary and trea- surer respectively. Under the leadership of these officers and the advice of moderator, Mr. McMorrow, the club had a busy year. Sb? 0'cwQnow The Ski Club was one of the new clubs on campus this year. lt got a good start with' an after Christmas trip to northern Utah. The club skied at both Snowbird and Alta ski resorts. Despite the lack of snow, everyone had a good time. Some skiers would not be denied their right to ski and upon return were asked by ski repair shops how it was skiing in a parking lot. Mr. Tim Ellis planned the trip along with president Mike Dibb. This was all the club did this year, but it is young and needs time to develop. Maybe next year they'll even find some snow. 1.
