From its very start this year the club wanted to be an active, well publicized group. The greasy fsometimes undercookedj taquitos you waited 45 minutes for were the way the club became famous on campus. The cooks for these delights were Paul DaSiIva, David Rauterkus, Mike DiToIIa, John Schulte, and Jon Smock. The sales were always a success with nothing left over. The money was then used to assist fami- lies in the community during Christ- mas. The highlight of the year and a super learning experience for the club was a trip to Mexico during Easter. - K- f tttte ..... M tt,t . s Mwawmww 5 Q' N- t X' N . 1 VueLw Some geople dream of going to France. ome are born in France. Then there are those who are lucky enough to be in the French Club at St. John Bosco. The Club is open for membership to anyone who has a French class at Bosco. The French Club probably won't be going to France, but they are getting as close to it as possible. Led by Mr. Mans- our, the club has really gotten off the ground. After a financial indifference with St. Joseph's at the end of last year, the club sought a new partner. They discovered that St. Matthias, another all girls school, was also searching for a French club partner. ijt 1. Mr. Mansour in a familiar pose. 2. D. Gutierrez, C. Florez, M. Tan, G. Qui- nones, M. IT 100 Fzeachdub A picnic was planned, and the two schools hit it off really well. Then St. Joseph's came back to Bosco and they planned another picnic which went pretty well also. Now the club has two partners instead of one. The money to sponsor these outings is made by Rice Krispie treats and lemonade sales. Even though Mr. Mansour is the modorator, he lets the council make the decisions. And the decisions are made well. Now the club looks to the future for even more outings. Most of all the club is a very proud club, led by intelligent officers and a popular teacher, and the motto to represent the club: VlVE LA FRANCE .
