Fi To 5900 S Devastated Freshman are down evervwhere. Freshmen mob is no match for senior superiority. In years gone by, Freshman initiation was the most feared event in the life of the new Bosco Brave. Recently, however, initiation has become a Senior-Frosh activities day consisting of games. This year the initiation encompassed inter-class competition between the Freshmen in which the loosing team of course went for a swim in the mud pit. It was a great spectator event due to the fact that there were two Seniors for every twenty-five Freshmen. Although outnumbered, the Seniors succeeded in showing the Freshmen who was boss while having a good time. 67

DANCES Dances were a real morale booster at St. John Bosco. They give the students a change from the everyday pressures of school. Between Bosco and our sister school, St. Joseph, the students enjoyed a dance at least once every three weeks. The bands hired for these events were usually polished performers. This year there was a new innovation, the disco dance. This was something the students enjoyed very much. ff-N i 3 l
