This year the California Scholarship g Federation nearly doubled in size. Under the direction of advisor lVlr. Lamb and officers Pat Loy fPresidentJ Paul Kaminski Nice Presidentj, Bob Boshetto Ureasurert, and Tim Duenas fSecretaryl, the club took on new meaning and significance. In past years membership in CSF has been just a great academic honor, period. This year however with the numerous fund-raisers and educational outings it has become a true club in every sense of the word. As well as sponsoring events and outings the CSF has provided an excellent tutoring service throughout the year. While CSF membership qualifications are still rigorous, membership increased greatly-this is due in part to the creation of a junior membership program. This year saw a valiant effort on the part of a number of students, who under the direction of Mr. Wright, formed themselves into a marching band. Their spirit and enthusiasm added a dimension all their own to our football games. After the marching season, many students left the band to play sports. But the students who remained showed a real dedication to music. These remaining members are entering a new phase for the Bosco Music Dept. with the creation of the Jazz Band.
