CHEERLEADERS u.. .14 F' The 1977-78 Cheer and Yell Leaders Undoubtedly the most popular group here at Bosco this year was the cheerleading squad. This unit consisted of Katie Perry, Terry Beck, Angela Carfino, Cindy Buchannon, Jenny Miller, Marianne OlLeary, Daphne Shipp, Anna Albano, Nancy Brown, Joanne Devlin, Dorothy Yababen, and Terri Snider. Paulo Morales, Mario Hernandez, Bob Brazelton, Mark O'Bar and Jim Collozo composed the rest of the cheerleading combo. This enthusiastic group performed at rallies and games, providing teams with much-needed support and spirit. Their hard work and dedication throughout the year was greatly appreciated. SAILING CLUB The Saint John Bosco Sailing Club enjoyed a fun-filled year. The objective of this organization was not only to have fun, but to learn boating safety and general seamanship. Members of the club speak with knowledgeable specialists from various fields of the space program. The underlying purpose of the club is not only to learn more about space research, but to help the members develop their own interests in science and discern a possible career.
