WINTER VARSITY SOCCER The Soccer team did not have an overly suc- cessful season, as far as the record was concerned, but the members learned many valuable points that will enable them to make fewer mistakes next year. This yearis team had quite a bit of bad luck in that it lost many of the games in the last three seconds of playing time. The Coach, Mr. Davis, has attributed this misfortune to a lack of the will to wm. Despite the fact that the victories were not numerous, the Captain, Dewey Potts, did a com- mendable job of leading the team throughout the entire season. The Goalie, Rick Craighill, valiantly tried to defend the goals scored. Dennis Cervino, Bill Lucas, and Tagart Steele were others who per- formed to their utmost so that the team might have the depth of strength that it needed. It is hoped by the Coach, Team Manager, and team members alike that next yearis Soccer group will have a better season, and will be able to regain the I.A.C. Championship that our school deserves so greatly. Surely, with skill, determination, and knowledge gained from this year's errors, this dream will become a reality.
