wimitir As the excited hum of preparing instruments filled Bannan Theatre, a sense of expectancy hung in the air. But from the very first note played at Winter Pops 2005, it was clear that the show would exceed its already high expecta- tions. The Jazz Band brought spice to the show with its rendition of “La Bamba, and the Symphonic Orchestra blew the audience away with the beauty of their performance. The Men’s Quartet took the audience back in time with their rendition of “Luck Be a Lady.” and the eclectic songs of the Mixed Chorus showed us the sounds of other countries. The show was full of holiday spirit, especially in the perfor- mance of the Harmonic Bells.
