I. on a scholarship in 1942, but left for St. Joseph's Colleoc in the fol- lowing year, and recently returned as a senior. ... He ran for the track team this year. . . . In his fourth year of football, Joe quarter- barked the championship varsity, and his sensational punting pulled the team out of many a bad spot.
