Valiants Reach The varsity football team, under the direction of head coach Lindon Crow and assistant coaches laccino, Peters, J. Slimak and A. Slimak achieved an impressive 8-2-1 record and made it to the CIF Central Conference playoffs. Junior Quarterback Sean Sterle directed the offensive attack for the Valiants. The offensive line was anchored by seniors Gerry Dalton, Don Teagle, and junior Arthur Olivas. The defense was strengthened by all-leaguers Jim Russo, Joe Di- Fronzo and Jose Galeano. The Valiants finished the regular season in second place in the tough Mission League. The team promises to be a good one next year with numerous all-leaguers return- ing along with two all-CIF players, Sean Sterle and Jan Cespedes. Scoreboard S.G.
