ROBERT ALBANO This is Mr. Albano ' s first year at St. Genevieve. He teaches English and US History. He at- tended LA Pierce College. UCLA. CSUN and CSU Sacra- mento. MICHAEL ANDERSON Mr. Anderson is a veteran at St. Genevieve having been here for 13 years. He is now teaching English III and Journal ism. Mr. Anderson received his B.A. in Music and a DMA. at U.S.C He is also involved with the school as Newspaper Moderator and Chairman of the English Department. Out- side of school he enjoys travel- ing and 16th century history. CHARLENE ALBERT Having attended Lavod Uni versity in Quebec where she earned a BA in English with a minor in Education. Miss Albert enjoys sewing, reading, swim- ming, and macrame. In this, her third year at St. Genevieve, she teaches Erench. MAUREEN ALDRICH Mrs. Aldrich has been at St. Genevieve for two years as school receptionist and book store clerk. She enjoys playing tennis, raquetball and jump roping. I have two children, six and three years old. that keep me busy when I ' m not working. DOROTHY ALEXIS Mrs. Alexis has been a regis- trar and secretary at St. Gene- vieve for 7 years. She especial- ly enjoys watching Valiant football games. The Alexis fam- ily have been parishishers here since 1953. Five of her children have graduated from St. Gene- vieve. She is a proud grand mother of Corey and Jason. STEVEN ANDREWS Mr. Andrews attended CSUN where he received a B.A. in Psychology. He is currently pursuing graduate work in Edu cational Psychology. He has been at St. Genevieve for two years teaching math classes During his free time he is inter- ested in photography, music, running, and humor. MIGUEL ARMAS Mr. Armas currently teaches Biology and B.S.C.S. He has taught Biology and Genetics in colleges and Biology and Physi- ology in high schools for sever- al years. He is a member of the National Association of Biology Teachers and Bio-Forum. SISTER ANGELA CLARE S.P. This is Sister ' s eighth year at St. Genevieve. She teaches English to Junior and Seniors, and she also is a counselor. Sis ter holds a B.S. in Education from St Mary-of the Woods College Indiana; a B.A. from Im- maculate Heart College. Holly wood; and a MA. from the Uni versity of Notre Dame. Indi- ana. let thy voice rise like a fountain for me night and day. it »!»■ Counseling And guidance H The Counseling Department this year is headed by Mr. Mitch Saunders. The staff members consist of Miss Barkley, Sr. Angela Clare, Sr. Paula, and a newcomer, although definitely not new to the school, Mr. Trujillo. The staff is available all year for students to come and see the counselor of their choice, to discuss any problem they might have. Art Venegas took over the guidance department to help Seniors and Juniors who are seeking information on colleges of their choice. KEN BAILEY A new addition to St. Gene- vieve faculty. Mr. Bailey re- ceived his BA in Sociology at UCLA and his teaching creden tials for Social Studies and Math at CSUN. He enjoys at- tending the school sports and social activities. He spends his free time jogging, backpack- ing, and playing the guitar. Those who do not learn the lessons of history are doomed to repeat them. LINDON CROW Woodwork ing and camping are two of Coach Crow ' s favorite pastimes but we know him best as our head football and track coach. He also teaches PE and Geography. USC and CSUN are the schools where he got his degrees. This is his sixth year at St. Genevieve. CAROL BARKLEY In her second year at St. Gene vieve Miss Barkley teaches Marriage and Family. She has her MA in Educational counsel- ing and coursework for a mar- riage therapy license. Miss Barkley is also Sophomore class moderator, and counselor. She enjoys sewing, canning, travel- ling around California, and reading. SISTER DAVID S.P. Sr. David presides in the atten- dance office for the second year. Her subject is on- time - ology. She has previously taught in schools from East to West with stops in the Mid- west. Her hobbies include cross-word puzzles, crochet ing, and animal sitting. KATHERINE DUNN In this, her third year at St. Genevieve. Mrs. Dunn teaches Physics. Chemistry, and IPS. She graduated from UCSD and Pasadena City College. She is in charge of the Science Club and is the Science Department Chairperson. She enjoys danc ing. swimming, and camping. P.B.P.G.I.NE.W.M.Y. SANDY CROW In her si th year of teaching at St. Genevieve Mrs. Crow ' s classes are Typing I. Account ing I and II. and Steno. She has a BS degree in Sociology and a minor in Psychology, is Chair- person of the Electives Depart- ment. Cheerleader Moderator, and on the steering committee for Accreditation. I am proud to be a part of the St. Gene vieve family. ' ' FR. FRANK DOHERTY SS.CC. This is Father ' s first year as principal of St. Genevieve and his sixth year of teaching here. He is teaching English this year. He attended Queen of Peace Seminary in New Hamp shire majoring in Theology and Philosophy.
