Considering the tough schedule, the Va- liants played well throughout the season. The team was lead by Junior Chris Meissner and Sophomore Mary Kujawa. K Cagers-. 2-0 Ceague Kecord First year Coach Leslie Caro, having exceptional coaching references, led the Girl ' s Jay Vee basketball team to a pre- league record of 5-1 and a league record of 2-0 this year. With Paula Lucas ' rebounding and Kathleen Rear don ' s endless scoring, Caro found it relatively simple though not without challenge to organize an impres- sive and formidable team. 97
