SNEAK DAY At 4:30 a.m. on Friday, May 5, 1967, the Seniors, Mr. George and Mr. Johnson, boarded a chartered bus for their Sneak Day in Omaha. The day began with breakfast in Fremont, a tour of Boys Town and the Hoslyn Art Museum. Brandeis provided a free lunch. The afternoon was spent taking airplane rides at Eppley Air Field and free time. We then saw The Bible at the Indian Hills Theater, and had midnight supper at Ross' Steak House. We arrived home about 3 a. m. tired, but happy from a memorable day. GRADUATION 14

SENIOR SUCCESS CHRIS BOGER—CORNHUSKER GIRL'S STATE The American Legion Auxiliary Post 226 selected Chris Boger their representative to Cornhusker Girl's State held in Lincoln, 11-17. as June STEVE ROBERTS—CORNHUSKER BOY'S STATE The American Legion Post 226 selected Steve Roberts to represent St. Edward at Comhusker Boy's State held in Lincoln, June 11-17. CONNIE TORSON--CHEERLEADING CLINIC The S. E. H. S. Pep Club sent Connie Torson, their head cheerleader, to cheerleader clinic in Lincoln, June 13-17. The clinic was held at Nebraska Wesleyan, and was handled by the National Cheerleaders Association. Also, our teen correspondent, Diane Hall, sent Connie's picture to the Omaha World Herald, to display the new cheerleaders uniforms. STEVE HILLER--MIDLAND TEEN OF THE WEEK Steve Hiller was chosen the Midland Teen of the Week because of his outstanding athletic ability. JOYCE ADEN—HOMEMAKER OF TOMORROW Joyce Aden was chosen Homemaker of Tomorrow on the basis of a test taken by all senior Home Ec. girls on December 7. TOM SMITH—STATE FARMER Mr. Smith presented Tom Smith with the Dekalb Award for being the outstanding senior. Tom also received the degree of State Farmer at the F. F. A. State Convention in Lincoln, April 6. REGENTS The University of Nebraska Regents test was administered by Mr. Eidam to the top one-third of the senior class on November 3. The people taking the test were Tom Smith, Chris Boger, Eric Bystrom, Alan Koerber, Richard Good, Connie Torson, Joyce Aden, Susan Sorensen, Steve Roberts, Kris Gehring, Sharon Baker, and Ruth Hansen.
