Spotlight On Seniors Being A KENT HASSELBALCH- -BOYS NATION After he had received the highest score in the government exam at Comhusker Boys State, Kent was chosen as one of Nebraska's two representatives to Boys Nation in Washington D.C., July 17-24. He is pictured here with Roman Hruska, U.S. Senator from Nebraska. A community Beef-burger feed and a special football half-time ceremony honored Kent on Sept. 11, designated as Kent Hasselbalch Day by the St. Edward Commercial Club. CONNIE HALL—CHEERLEADING CLINIC The SEHS Pep Club sent its head cheerleader, Connie Hall, to cheerleading clinic in Lincoln, June 15-19. The clinic, held at Nebraska Wesleyan, was handled by the National Cheerleaders Association. PHYLLIS CROSIER—KTTT REPORTER Phyllis, with the St. Edward news sponsored by Smith Hardware is heard three times a week over radio station KTTT, Columbus Nebraska. NELDA Me KAY--NATIONAL FHA CONVENTION Nelda, a State FHA Office Candidate, was selected as one of 29 Nebraska delegates to National FHA Convention in Chicago, July 13-16. LORENE JASA— CORNHUSKER GIRLS STATE American Legion Auxiliary Post 226 selected Lorene Jasa as their representative to Comhusker Girls State held in Lincoln, June 13-19. JACK STEINBACH--MASSEY-FERGUSON TRIP Jack Steinbach was chosen by Mahoney Sales and Service, local M-F dealer, to participate in Youth Business Opportunity Days sponsored by M-F at Chicago and Indianapolis. Activities included: a training program, tours of the M-F plant and test farm, and a major league baseball game.

Class Prophecy Looking ahead to 1985, the Class of 1965 has assembled for their class reunion. We find that: LINDA BROUGHTON has proved that perpetual motion is possible. JUDY COLFACK is making up missed school. LEOTA CRISS has been giving driving instructions to Phyllis Crosier. PHYLLIS CROSIER is now recuperating from a car accident after having failed her driver's test--again. JANET DANNELLY is president of Heinz Ketchup, or is it Hence. BILLY DICKENSON is the new cover boy for Mad Magazine. CONNIE HALL has just escaped from the Norfolk asylum where she was sent after editing the yearbook. KENT HASSELBALCH now runs a dead horse pick-up service; he found he couldn't cure them all. LORENE JASA is still going to college near Wayne. We wonder why. GARY JOHNSON is head coach of our Olympic Drag-racing team. NEAL KEMPER is a partner in the Kemper-Swim Egg Corporation. ROD KOERBER has finally made it through Med school and is now a doctor; he has just found out that he can't stand the sight of blood. PATTY LAWRENCE has just been nominated as the vice-presidential candidate along with Teddy Kennedy. LO JEAN LONG is the maid at Professor Eidam's estate. CHIP MARICLE now makes electronic watches so he can make time somehow. KEITH MATZEN is writing a book on How I Understand Women. The title is as far as he has progressed. JIM McINTOSH is now professor of weeds and seeds at the University and makes up the tests for the state FFA Convention. JANET McINTOSH has been promoted to head chef of the Hong-Kong Hilton. NELDA McKAY now invents bombs; her latest development is the Rosenbomb. KENNY MUNSINGER just quit the professional playboy club and finally started the M and M Company. GENE PARRY went through Annapolis and now is Admiral Parry and guards Tahiti Island, but who is going to guard Tahiti from him ? BILL PETERSON is the leading stockholder of Roberts Dairy. CONNIE RINKOL is feeding cattle on the Big K Ranch west of Albion. JACK STEINBACH is President of the NFO and is White from all the work. DIXIE SWANSON has found the secret for keeping Young. DOUG VANNOY has started an insurance company for John Deere drivers. JUDY VANNOY is a Sergeant-Major in the British Army; she got into the wrong recruiting station. JIM WIELAND is now owner of Oldsmobile division of General Motors. 16
