LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT We, the Class of 1961 of St. Edward High School, in the town of St. Edward, County of Boone, State of Nebraska, being of sound mind and body, do hereby make this our last will and testament, revoking all previous and former wills made by our hands. First, we leave to the dear and beloved faculty a sense of relief that we have at last been graduated, and we hereby give, free from all inheritance, luxury or income tax, our entire store of knowledge. From them it came and to them it should be returned, that others may be benefited by it as we have been. Second, to the Junior Class we leave our dignity and ability to carry out responsibilities so that the school will remain endurable under their leadership. Third, to the Sophomore Class, we leave our ability to plan and organize so their projects won't be failures. Fourth, to the Freshman Class, we leave our manners. We also give to them our good sense of humor so they won't take life seriously. Fifth, as we leave SEHS, we have a few personal gifts that we would like to pass on. They are as follows: I, Linda Anderson, do will and bequeath my safe driving ability to Lee Kemper so he can get as many scratches . on his car as I have. I, Melvin Carlson, do will and bequeath my blonde hair to Jeryce Gasper, so she won't be the only red haired girl in school. I, Robert Cruise, do will and bequeath the clips on my shoes to Ernie Carlson so that he may be steadfast on foot. 111, Ronald Cruise, do will and bequeath my ability to trap??? to Daryl Reynoldson so he can be as successful as I have been. I. Marjorie Dickenson, do will and bequeath my neat hair to Dale Martin so he will be more appealing to the girls. I, Gary Howser, do will and bequeath my ability to pay attention in class to Charlotte Gragert to improve her outstanding participation in class. . I, Linda James, do will and bequeath my slim figure to Mary Ellen Long so she will not have to worry about her weight anymore. I, Connie Jasa, do will and bequeath my ability to stay home at night to Terry Wieland so she may catch up on her sleep. I, Gene Klassen, do will and bequeath my parking place on Kangaroo Hill to Mike Smith so he can get caught as many times as I have. e. I, Deloris Lawrence, do will and bequeath my height to George Stone so he can become a great basketball player. I, Donna Long, so will and bequeath my ability to be true to a guy in service to Deanna Flaherty and Ardys Crosier so they won't have a guilty conscience. I, Donn McKay, do will and bequeath my pleasing personality to anyone who might feel grumpy. I, Cynthia Osantowski, do will and bequeath my record of straight 5 s to Herman Gragert so that he may be the brain of his class. I, Sharon Reed, do will and bequeath my mustard seed to Lorrie Werner in hopes that she will have better luck with it than I did. I, Eudell Remmereid, do will and bequeath my grades to Nick Fonda so that he can have a one day vacation when he is a Senior. (Regents Exam) I, Marvin Rinkol, do will and bequeath my ability to give the teachers something to talk about to Doug Matzen so the teachers will have someone to tease after I leave. I, Alan Smith, do will and bequeath my size as a football player to Gary Kinzer so he will be able to play on Varsity football his Senior year. I, Gloria Swanson, do will and bequeath my trips to the mountains to anyone who may get bored with school next year. I, Max Thomazin, do will and bequeath my ability to send my ring South for the winter to Clete Werner so it won’t be so heavy on his hand. I, Linda Week, do will and bequeath my noisy ways to Gayle Steckel so she will always be noticed. Witnesses: Linda Week Lawyer; I. M. Dunn Marvin Rinkol Connie Jasa 15
